In detail
Tours of your winery, booked from one link.
People who turn up at the winery on a Saturday without warning find the doors shut or the tasting room already busy, and those who phone midweek find you out among the vines. Tours only run smoothly when you know ahead who is coming and when. Here is how a link lines up tours and tastings, and what it does not do yet.
Tour and tasting, each with its own time
The starting list has two items: “Tour and tasting” at ninety minutes and “Tasting” at sixty. Rename them as you like, for instance “Vineyard, barrel cellar and three glasses”, and add more, such as a longer vertical tasting of older vintages. Whoever opens your link picks an item and only sees the times when it fits in full, inside the hours you opened for visits. The price only shows if you switch prices on; if it changes with the day, add a band for the weekend.
One time slot, one group
Today every booking is a group: a family, a couple, six friends on a day trip. The app does not sell single places on the same tour and does not ask how many people are coming or what language they speak; the booker can write that in the note for the business, and you read it before pulling any corks. If two of you lead tours, you and whoever handles hospitality, each has a diary and the visitor chooses who to go with: that way two groups can start at the same time. One account holds up to 12 people.
Harvest, closures and busy days
During harvest or bottling, tours stop: close those days in the diary and nobody sees them free from the link. In quiet weeks open only the slots you want, perhaps Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. When Saturday’s times are gone, people who cared join the waiting list: if a group cancels, the alert reaches whoever was waiting, provided their notifications are on. Requests from travel agencies or the wine shop in town you add yourself from the diary, even by voice while you are among the barrels.
Reminders and delays in the hills
Visitors from out of town often get lost on country roads. The notification reminder goes out by itself for those who turned it on, the day before and two hours before unless you change the settings, and your page shows the address with a Maps link. For people without notifications you step in: one tap and a pre-filled WhatsApp leaves from the winery’s number. If the ten o’clock group lingers in the barrel room, mark the delay and the half past eleven group knows before setting off. You choose the online cancellation window, up to forty-eight hours before. Bottles and tastings are paid at the winery: the app takes no money.
