In detail
Full spin classes, without the race to text first.
In indoor cycling the 7 pm class fills up in no time and every empty bike stands out. The hard part isn’t finding riders: it’s knowing who will really show up and handing a freed bike to whoever was waiting for it. Here is how you run that from your phone, even between one class and the next.
One bike, one spot
In the spin room the spots are the bikes. You create the class from the room’s card, give it a length and a bike count, up to 50, and set times if you want them: 7 am for the early commuters, 1 pm for the lunch break, 7:30 pm after work. People booking don’t pick a bike, they take a spot in the class: where they sit you sort out in the room. If the same room alternates spin with other classes, give each its own times, because one time slot holds just one class.
The waiting list runs itself
When the bikes are gone, latecomers on the link join the queue instead of texting you “let me know if one frees up”. If a rider cancels within the limit, the bike opens up and anyone queued with notifications on gets an alert: the first one to book takes it. By default people cancel from their phone up to two hours before, enough to get someone else in the saddle; you can tighten or loosen that, up to forty-eight hours. The clipboard of names on the front desk can retire.
Who’s coming and who isn’t
Before class you open the calendar and find every rider’s name. Those who turned on notifications get their reminder automatically, the day before and two hours before, and a tap on “I’ll be there” tells you they’re in. Everyone else gets two lines on WhatsApp from you, already written, from the center’s number. Whoever leaves a bike empty without a word you mark as a no-show: from then on their bookings stay pending until you approve them. If the previous class ends late, you send a delay notice and whoever is on the way sees it on their page.
Instructors, rooms and payments
Instructors join as collaborators, each with the permissions you decide, and check the calendar from their own phone. If besides spin you run another class room, each gets its own calendar, up to 12. Online every rider holds at most two active classes at a time; extra ones you book yourself. SeeYouNext doesn’t sell class packs or memberships and doesn’t take payments: fees stay wherever they are today. On your page you show photos of the room and, when needed, a notice at the top, for example about a special Sunday morning ride.
