In detail
Car detailing with a few cars a day, each in its own long slot.
In detailing a job done right takes hours: a multi-stage polish, an interior clean that reaches into the seat rails. Two or three cars fill the day, and one that drops out means half a day lost. Here is how to organize those few valuable appointments.
Long services that do not get split
Your price list starts with interior cleaning for two hours and polishing for four. Add what you offer: paint correction, ceramic coating, engine bay cleaning, ozone sanitizing, each with the time it really takes. The calendar only shows start times where the whole job fits within opening hours, so nobody books a four hour polish at five in the afternoon. If a treatment keeps the car longer than a day, book the drop-off as a short appointment and block the hours you work on it, so no other requests land on top.
Let the gallery do the talking
People looking for a detailer want to see reflections, not read a list. Your booking page has a photo gallery: upload the work you are proud of, the mirror-black hood, the leather interior brought back to life. Next to it go links to Instagram and TikTok, where you may already post before-and-after videos, and anyone arriving from there finds free times right away. Show prices or hide them: for custom work many detailers prefer to talk after seeing the paint, and you can say so in the notice at the top of the page.
An empty half day is expensive
With appointments this long, a forgotten booking hurts more than elsewhere. Customers who turned on notifications get a reminder on their own, a day ahead and two hours ahead, and one tap on “I’ll be there” gives you the confirmation. Everyone else gets it on WhatsApp with one tap, from your number. You can set an online cancellation limit of up to forty-eight hours, so anyone backing out does it early enough to hand the slot to someone on the waitlist. Mark a no-show, and their next bookings wait for your go-ahead.
Working alone or with a crew
If you work alone the schedule is yours, and the days you spend on mobile jobs you block once. If there are more of you, each person has their own services: whoever only does interiors gets no polishing bookings. One account holds up to 12. The car’s color, the type of paint or a customer’s special requests go in the contact notes, ready for the next job. The app does not collect deposits: if you ask for one on a big treatment, handle it the way you already do.
