In detail
Tanning beds and stand-up booths, bookable from one link.
In a tanning salon it is not a person who is busy, it is the machine: the lie-down bed, the stand-up booth, the face unit. Before vacations and weddings everyone wants the same evening hours after work. Here is how you give each unit its own calendar and let clients pick the one they want by themselves.
Each bed is a space
When you sign up as a space business, you name every unit: Bed 1, Bed 2, Stand-up booth, Face unit. Each has its own card with a photo and a line of description, such as the type of unit or whether it has a cooling fan, so clients see right away what they are choosing. You do not write a separate price list: items come from the spaces, and on each card you set the length and price. If the booth is also rented for longer sessions at another price, add a second length on the same card.
Evenings in May and June
After-work hours fill up first, especially in the weeks before summer. Whoever finds everything full can join the waiting list on your page and gets an alert as soon as a bed frees up, with no call-backs from you, if they have notifications on. To push the quieter hours, use time-based prices: mornings cost less and the page shows a from price when prices are visible. Holidays and maintenance days are closed on a single unit, and the others stay bookable.
Fewer empty beds
A skipped session is a unit switched on for nobody. Clients who turned on notifications get the reminder on their own, by default the day before and two hours before, and can reply that they will be there. For clients who do not use them, you send it on WhatsApp with one tap: it goes out from the salon number with the text ready. Mark a no-show, and their next bookings wait for your approval. Online each client holds two active bookings at most: if someone wants a whole week of sessions before a trip, you add the rest to the calendar yourself.
A beauty salon with tanning
If tanning sits inside a beauty salon, you decide where to start: with the space type clients pick the unit, with the beautician type they pick the person doing the treatment. With spaces, client notes hold practical details only, such as preferred hours; the app keeps no skin records or health data, and it takes no online payments: prepaid cards and balances stay at the counter. Your page has the address with a map, photos of the booths and the Book button on your Google profile.
