A bridal appointment is never quick: the bride comes in with her mother, her sister and two friends, sits down, talks about the wedding, and only then starts trying on gowns. If the phone rings halfway through, the magic breaks. Here is how you handle dates without interrupting the party already in the fitting room.

The first visit and every fitting after

Your starting list has two items of one hour each: the first visit, where the bride finds her style and tries the first gowns, and the fitting for the dress she chose. Rename them and change the length: some boutiques give ninety minutes to the first visit and forty to final touches. The bride picks a time from your link where the whole hour is free, and in the note to the business she can write her wedding date and how many people are coming along. That way the chairs and the right selection are ready before she walks in.

Months of preparation, two dates at a time

A wedding gown is followed for months, yet from the link a bride books only within the next sixty days and holds at most two open appointments. Later steps, bodice alterations, the last hem check with her real shoes, you set in the diary at the end of each visit, and she finds them all on her page. If a date stops working, she asks to move it from there and you accept with one tap. When the gown is ready you agree on the handover and add it to the diary: the app sends no dress-ready alert on its own.

The Saturday everyone wants

Brides want Saturdays, because the people who come along work during the week. Open Saturday wide and close a weekday afternoon, mark holidays and bridal fair days once. When Saturday is full, whoever wanted it joins the waiting list and hears the moment a slot opens. A bride who can only come on Sunday sends you a request for an extra appointment from your page, and you decide whether to open. Gown prices stay hidden by default: you talk about them in person once you understand what she is looking for.

Consultants and reminders

If three of you work in the boutique, each has a diary and hours, up to 12 people, and the bride can choose who to see again after her first visit. Brides who turned on notifications get the reminder on their own, by default the day before and two hours before; for the rest you send it on WhatsApp, one tap and a ready message goes out from the boutique number. Put photos of gowns and the fitting room in your page gallery, next to the address and map for brides coming from out of town.

From the link she holds at most two open appointments, within the next sixty days. You set the rest in the diary and she sees them on her page.

Can she say how many people are coming with her?

Yes, in the note to the business when she books. There is no dedicated field: it is free text you read before the visit.

Can I take a deposit online to hold the appointment?

No: SeeYouNext does not take payments. Money matters stay in the boutique, as they do now.

Can I let the bride know her gown is ready?

Not with an automatic alert, which does not exist yet. You book the handover appointment and she gets the reminder, or you call her.

Do my clients have to download an app?

No: they open your link and book. Regulars can install your business’s app, with your logo, straight from your page, on Android and iPhone. If they turn on notifications, that’s where reminders and alerts arrive.

What does it mean that SeeYouNext is in beta?
