In detail
Tutoring and homework help, with the week’s hours in order.
Anyone who tutors knows the school rhythm: quiet weeks, then a math test is announced and every family wants an hour the evening before. In June the failed subjects appear, in September the resits, in spring the final exams. Here is how you line up requests without spending your evenings answering parents.
Lesson and long lesson, subject by subject
The starting list has two items: a one hour lesson and a ninety minute long lesson, handy when a whole physics or Latin chapter needs revising before an oral test. Rename them as you like, for example “Middle school math” or “High school chemistry”, and add more. Whoever opens your link only sees the afternoon hours you left free where that length fits, so the long lesson never gets squeezed against the six o’clock one. Prices stay hidden until you turn the switch on.
The parent books, under their own name
For a twelve year old, the lesson is almost always booked by mom or dad, with their own name and phone number: the app has no field for the student’s name yet. The parent writes it in the note to the business, and you find it in the booking; in your contacts, next to their number, you add your own text notes such as the school year or the textbook. One phone can hold at most two active lessons at a time: a parent with two kids books this week’s, and you add the rest from the diary.
A center with several tutors
If your homework club has several people, each has a diary, afternoons and the subjects they teach: whoever only covers languages never gets algebra requests. The parent picks the tutor or takes the first free slot. One account holds up to 12 people, with the permissions you decide. When every hour on the night before a test is taken, the family joins the waiting list: if someone drops out, whoever is waiting with notifications on gets the alert and takes the place.
Absences, delays and what the app does not do
The day before and two hours before, a reminder arrives as a notification to anyone who turned it on; for everyone else you send it yourself, one tap on WhatsApp from the business number with the text ready. If the previous lesson runs over, mark the delay and the next student reads the new time before leaving school. When someone does not show up, mark it, and their next requests wait for your approval. SeeYouNext does not sell bundles of hours, take payments or run remote lessons: it looks after the calendar.
