In detail
Dental cleanings booked from a link, with no phone calls in the middle.
A hygienist works with gloves on and a mask over the face: picking up the phone means stripping off, washing up and starting over. And patients come back months apart, when the last cleaning is a faded memory. Here is how a booking app lets you keep working and keeps the day full, whether you run your own room or work alongside several dentists.
Cleaning, whitening and check-up, each with its own time
The starting list already has three items: a forty-five minute cleaning, an hour of whitening, a half hour check-up. Rename them, change them, add more, like root planing or cleanings for people wearing braces. Whoever opens your link picks an item and the calendar only offers gaps long enough for it: whitening never gets squeezed into the thirty minutes between two check-ups. Show prices if you like, or keep them to yourself. If you would rather assess whitening in the chair first, say so in the notice at the top of your page and book it yourself from the calendar after the check-up.
If you work in more than one office
Plenty of hygienists move around: Monday in one office, Thursday in another. In your calendar you close the days you are elsewhere, so bookings only land when you are actually free. If instead it is one office with a bigger team, every person has a calendar and the items they perform, up to 12 in one account: someone looking for a cleaning finds you, someone looking for an exam finds the dentist. Everyone's day shows on a phone or on the front desk computer, and a caller goes in with a few taps, or by voice while you change gloves.
Six months go by fast
Months often pass between one cleaning and the next, and that is where patients drift away. At the end of the visit open the calendar, pick a date far ahead with the patient and book it yourself: online each person can hold at most two active bookings, and you add the rest. The appointment appears on their personal page. As it gets close, anyone who turned on notifications gets an alert the day before and another two hours before; a locked phone shows only the day, the time and the office name. For people without them, use WhatsApp: tap the booking and the text is ready, sent from the office number.
A calendar, not a chart
You will not find plaque scores, periodontal probing or X-rays here: SeeYouNext only deals with when the patient comes in, not what you find in their mouth. It does not issue invoices or file expenses with the Italian health system. Notes in the contact list are for practical things, like “prefers the first slot”. When stubborn tartar makes a cleaning run long, mark the delay and the next patient reads the new time before leaving. Someone who skips without warning gets marked as a no-show, and their next bookings wait for your approval. And when a slot opens up, whoever was on the waitlist hears about it.
