Bridal hair: dates set months ahead, mornings that can’t slip.
Doing bridal hair means working on dates fixed far in advance and on mornings where every minute matters. First there’s the style to try out, then the wedding day itself, then perhaps the mother and the bridesmaids, one after another. Here is how to keep all of it in a single calendar, with no notebooks and no lost chats.
From the practice session to the wedding day
Your starting list has three items: a session to try out the style, an hour and a half; bridal hair, two hours; guest hair, one hour. Rename them the way you say them in the salon and change the timing whenever you like. The bride’s two hours stay whole on the calendar, so nobody can book a blow-dry halfway through while you’re pinning her veil. The link shows the next two months: a wedding date settled earlier than that you enter yourself, and the bride finds it on her page.
Bridesmaids, mothers and guests
Each guest can book her own style from her phone, using the same link you sent the bride, or you add her in seconds, even by dictating while you work. Online every client can hold at most two active bookings, so the bride can’t fill the whole morning with her friends’ names: you add those yourself. If there are several of you on the team, each has her own calendar and services, and the bride chooses who does her hair. On the day you see at a glance who sits down at eight and who goes last.
Early Saturdays, Sundays and venue calls
Brides get ready at dawn, often on weekends. For a time outside your usual hours you add an extra slot to the calendar; if the bride is the one asking, she sends you a request from your page with a note and the day she needs, and you decide. When you head out to style her at home or at the venue, you block those hours and nobody books over them online. You can push the online cancellation limit up to forty-eight hours: past that point, cancelling goes through you.
Reminders and delays on the big day
Anyone with notifications on gets the reminder on her own, by default a day and two hours before, and can confirm with “I’ll be there”. Guests who never turned them on get a WhatsApp from the salon’s number with one tap, message already written. If the bride’s updo runs long because a hairpiece needs redoing, you flag the delay and the next guests see the new time before leaving. Your page gallery shows brides from past seasons, so future clients know your style before they write to you.
