In detail
A boxing gym with classes booked from one link.
In a boxing gym the heavy bags and ring space set the limit: past a certain number people get in each other’s way and the coach can’t watch anyone properly. Here’s how you make sure every class has the right crowd, from evening beginners to fighters getting ready for a bout.
Bags, ring and classes
In the app your gym is made of rooms: the bag room and, if you like, the ring as a second room, each with its own calendar, up to 12. From each room’s page you create classes: beginner boxing, amateur boxing, ring technique, conditioning, women’s boxing. Set each class’s spots to match the bags you have, up to 50. A time slot holds one class only, so ring technique never collides with the circuit.
Beginners and fighters in camp
People new to boxing often show up after a video or a friend’s nudge: send them the link, they pick the beginner class, see the spots left and book without downloading anything or creating an account. Competitive boxers who train nearly every day are better off installing your gym’s app with your logo. Keep one limit in mind for them: from the link each person holds two upcoming bookings at most, and you fill in the rest of their week in seconds, even by voice while you’re holding pads.
Cancellations, no-shows and packed nights
Friday night everyone wants a bag; Tuesday morning the room is half empty. When a class is full, whoever misses out joins the waitlist and, with notifications on, gets an alert the moment someone gives up their spot. By default people can cancel from their phone up to two hours ahead; you move that cutoff. If someone books a bag and never turns up, mark the no-show: their next bookings stay on hold until you confirm them.
Reminders, and what it doesn’t do
Reminders go out on their own as notifications to anyone who enabled them, by default 24 hours and two hours ahead; everyone else you reach on WhatsApp with one tap, message ready, from the gym’s number. SeeYouNext doesn’t sell entries or bundles, doesn’t collect fees and doesn’t keep training logs or fighters’ weights: those stay where they are today. If you close one evening for a meeting or a fight night, block the room and say so in the notice at the top of your page.
