In detail
A speech therapy practice with sessions booked by families.
Most people walking into a speech therapy practice are children with a parent, and nearly all of them want the same hours: after school. Requests arrive by text in the evening, and slots get swapped in a hurry at the door. Here is how a booking app helps you keep those afternoons in order.
The parent books, under their own name
With SeeYouNext the booking is made by whoever holds the phone, which means the parent: they leave their own name and number, and reminders go to them. The app has no dedicated field for the child’s name, so in your contacts you recognize the family by the parent’s name; notes are for practical details only, like who usually brings the child or which days school runs late. Adults book the same way, under their own name.
Assessment first, then sessions at a fixed time
The list starts with a sixty minute assessment and a forty-five minute session, and you shape it as you like. A new family books the assessment from your link, choosing among the free times; after that, sessions usually fall on the same weekday at the same hour. You set them from the schedule, at the end of a session or whenever suits you, and the parent sees them on their page. On their own, online, a parent can hold at most two active bookings. If you prefer to agree on the assessment by phone, say so in the notice at the top of your page, with the number to call.
Fevers, field trips and school plays
With children, surprises are the norm. A parent can ask to move a session from their page up to two hours before, and you accept the proposal with one tap. When a session is dropped, the waitlist alerts families who were hoping for a free afternoon. So nobody forgets, parents who enabled notifications get a reminder the day before and two hours before, with the day, the time and the practice name; other parents get a ready-written WhatsApp from the practice number with one tap. Running late with the child before? Mark the delay and the next family knows before leaving home.
Several therapists, no clinical files
If several of you work at the practice, each therapist has their own schedule, days, holidays and items, up to 12 people; parents choose who to see, or take whoever is free first. Assessments, tests, school reports and diagnoses stay outside the app: SeeYouNext is a scheduling tool, not a clinical record, it does not issue invoices and it does not connect to the Italian health expense system. Booking takes very little data, and it is the parent’s.
