In detail
Your escape room bookable from one link, room by room.
In an escape room the real work happens between games: putting padlocks and clues back, welcoming the next group, running the briefing. If you also have to pick up the phone to say which rooms are still free on Saturday night, something slips. Here is how groups book by themselves while you keep reset times under control.
Every room is a space with its own photo
In the app each themed room is a space: give it a name, a photo and the length of a game, and it becomes something people can book. Whoever opens your link picks between “The Lab” and “The Crypt” by looking at the pictures, then sees only the times when that room is free. If you need fifteen minutes to reset between groups, build them into the length: nobody will ever book inside your reset window. One account holds up to 12 spaces, and a room can also have a second length, for instance a shorter version for teenagers.
The group comes together from the booking link
Usually one person books for everyone and the rest ask in the chat what time to meet. Once it is booked, they tap “Share with who’s coming” and send the group a ready-made message with room, day and time. Everyone opens the page and adds their name to the “Who’s coming” list; whoever booked can say how many people are needed, and the page shows how many are still missing. The list takes up to thirty names and never shows anyone’s phone number or surname. When you open the booking you already know how many will walk in and what they are called, handy for the briefing.
When a game runs over
It happens: a group gets stuck on the final puzzle, you grant five extra minutes and the reset slips. Mark the delay on the room with one tap: the next group sees the new time on their page and, if they turned notifications on, gets an alert before leaving home. The delay can also roll on to the games after that, so the whole evening stays in line. For packed Saturdays there is a waiting list: if a group drops out, whoever was waiting for that slot gets an alert, as long as their notifications are on.
Cancellations, birthdays and weekends
A group of six that skips Saturday at nine leaves a room idle in your best hour. You choose how late people can cancel from their phone, anywhere from zero to forty-eight hours before; until you set it, there is no cutoff. Reminders arrive as notifications for whoever turned them on, by default the day before and two hours before; for everyone else you send one on WhatsApp, one tap with the text ready, from your escape room number. Weekends can cost more than Tuesday afternoons: add a price band for the days and hours you want, shown only if prices are visible. Birthday parties and company outings that phone in, you add yourself from the diary. Payment stays at the counter: the app takes no payments and no deposits.
