In detail
Permanent makeup and microblading: long sessions, touch-ups set in time.
Permanent makeup takes total focus: you do not stop a microblading stroke to answer the phone. Sessions are long, usually preceded by a consultation and followed by a touch-up weeks later. Here is how to keep that whole journey in order with an online calendar, without turning it into a file of personal data.
Consultation, session, touch-up
The starting list has a thirty minute consultation, a two hour microblading session and a one hour touch-up. Add the other techniques you offer, like lip blush, eyeliner or scalp micropigmentation, with their lengths. Every active service can also be booked from the link, so if you want to meet the client first, say it in the notice at the top of your page: everything starts with a consultation. You schedule microblading and touch-ups yourself from the calendar once the design is agreed. Prices show only if you want them to.
The touch-up a few weeks later
After the first session a touch-up usually follows a few weeks on. Book it yourself before the client leaves, with the calendar open in front of you both: it takes seconds and she finds it on her page. From the link a client can hold no more than two active bookings at once, so later dates go through you. If she needs a different day, she requests the change from her page and you confirm with one tap. Her reminder reaches her as a notification if she turned them on, or you message her on WhatsApp from the studio number, text already prepared.
No health data in the notes
Before pigmenting you often ask about medication, allergies or pregnancy: that is health information, and it stays on your consent form, not in your calendar. SeeYouNext keeps a name, a phone number, appointments and text notes, and the notes are for practical things: the technique chosen, the pigment color, the time she prefers. Photos and files cannot be attached to a card. Data is stored on Google Firebase in line with GDPR, and your clients’ numbers are never sold.
A calm studio, a full week
A missed session is two empty hours you will hardly fill that same morning. Set how many hours ahead clients can cancel from their phone, up to forty-eight, and let people who are waiting join the waitlist: if a date opens up, they get an alert. Mark no-shows, and their next bookings wait for your approval. If you share the studio with a colleague, each of you has her own calendar and techniques, and the client chooses who to book the consultation with. Show your healed results in the gallery, and the Book button on your Google profile leads straight to your page.
