In detail
A group practice with every doctor’s schedule in one place.
In a practice with several doctors the front desk juggles different schedules: the cardiologist on Monday, the dermatologist on Wednesday, the orthopedist three afternoons a week. The phone never stops and every shift change gets rewritten by hand. Here is how a booking app gives each doctor a calendar and the front desk a single view, without touching the clinical side.
One calendar per doctor
Each doctor in the practice has their own days, hours and items: a thirty minute visit, a fifteen minute check-up, and whatever you add, like an ECG or a long specialist visit. Patients booking from the link pick the doctor or the first free time among those who offer that visit. One account holds up to 12 people. When a specialist only comes on Fridays, open just Fridays in their calendar; when they are on vacation or at a conference, close those days and nobody books with them. If you want to agree on a visit by phone first, say so in the notice at the top of your page and add it to the calendar yourselves.
The front desk sees everything
Give the front desk access with an invite link and the permissions you choose: they can add and move appointments for every doctor, while statistics stay with whoever should see them. A caller goes into the calendar in seconds, even by voice. Patient requests land there too: a time change asked for from their personal page, an extra appointment outside regular hours, with the patient’s note. One tap accepts them. Doctors can also sign in on their own phones and see the practice’s day without asking the front desk what comes next.
Private reminders, less waiting room time
Automatic reminders arrive as notifications for patients who turned them on, by default the day before and two hours before, and on a locked phone they carry the day, the time and the practice name, not the visit. For everyone else the front desk taps the booking and picks WhatsApp, SMS or a call: the text is already written and goes out from the practice number. When a doctor falls behind, one tap sends the delay and the following patients read the new time on their page instead of sitting and waiting; if they finish early, they can announce that too. No-shows get marked, and their next link bookings go through your approval.
What stays in your clinical software
SeeYouNext stops at the booking: no medical history, reports, prescriptions or certificates, no invoices and no expense filing with the Italian health system. To book, a patient needs a name and a phone number; front desk notes hold practical details only, like “call after six”. Online each patient holds at most two active bookings, and the practice sets any follow-ups. Data is stored on Google Firebase in line with the GDPR, and old history can be deleted once you no longer need it.
