In detail
At a driving school the front desk spends the day fitting lessons together: the learner who finishes school at two, the one who works until six, the instructor whose car is already taken. When the test date gets close, everybody wants to drive in the same week. Here is how you make lessons bookable from a link and keep the desk phone for real questions.
The starting list has three one hour items: driving lesson, highway driving and night driving, the ones the road to a license calls for. You can add an item for motorcycle lessons or make the lengths longer. A learner with a permit picks the item from your link and only sees the instructor’s free times. The meeting point, whether your office or the square in front of the high school, goes in the notice at the top of your page, next to the address and its map.
Each instructor has their own diary, shifts and items: whoever does not teach on motorcycles never gets motorcycle lessons. Learners choose who to drive with, if they get along with someone, or take the first free time. Up to 12 people in one account, with everyone’s day on the front desk screen or on your phone. Lessons asked for at the counter you enter yourself, even by voice, and on exam day you close the diary of whoever goes along.
A lesson ends in traffic and the next one starts late: mark the delay with one tap and the next learner reads it on their page before leaving home. Reminders arrive as notifications to whoever turned them on, by default the day before and two hours before; for the others a WhatsApp goes out from the school number with the message ready. When someone does not show up, mark it, and their next requests wait for the front desk to confirm. You set how late they can cancel on their own, up to forty-eight hours ahead.
A seventeen year old often has a parent book, under the parent’s name: the teenager’s name goes in the booking note. Online each learner holds at most two active lessons; extra ones in the weeks before the test are scheduled by the front desk. SeeYouNext does not count the mandatory lessons completed, does not sell lesson bundles and takes no payments: your register stays yours. Theory classes in a classroom, with many students together, are not booked here.
