In detail
Beach volleyball courts people can book straight from the beach.
In summer your sand courts fill up after five, once the heat drops, and sit empty at noon. People who want to play message you at any hour, often from a beach chair. With SeeYouNext your sports center has a single link: you open it on your phone, and so do they.
Every sand court with its own card and photo
Name each court the way your regulars do, like “Sand 1 by the bar” or “Center court with lights,” and add a photo so players know exactly where they’ll be. For every court you set how long a slot lasts, an hour or ninety minutes, and what it costs. You can run up to 12 courts in one account, and the calendar on your phone shows the whole day, from early morning to the floodlit evening slots. When a group walks up to the kiosk and asks for a court, you add it yourself or simply say it out loud.
Prices that follow the sun
The slots everyone wants are at sunset and on weekends; the middle of the day is hardly anyone’s favorite. On each court you can add up to three price bands by day and time: a full rate from 5:00 pm to closing, another on Saturday and Sunday, and the base price for the rest. Players read the amount right next to the time before they confirm. If you adjust your prices in July, bookings already made keep the price they were created with.
Two on two, four on four
Beach volleyball is played in pairs or bigger teams, and there’s always someone who isn’t sure they’re coming. Whoever booked sends the booking link to the others; each of them opens the page and adds their name to the list of who’s playing. The person who booked sets how many players are needed, and the page shows by itself how many are still missing. If they want teams, they split up right there, at random if they like. Nobody sees anyone else’s phone number, and you find the players on the booking card.
Wind, storms and courts to rake
When a summer storm rolls in, players cancel from their phone within the window you choose: for courts the app starts at 24 hours, and you can change it. If the sand needs leveling or raking, close those hours in the calendar and nobody can book over them. A court that opens up goes to whoever joined the waiting list, and if they turned notifications on, their phone tells them. Reminders go out as notifications the day before and two hours before, only to people who asked for them; everyone else gets a WhatsApp message from the center’s number with one tap.
